This memorial golf tournament has been created to celebrate Chris' legacy, to provide participants with the enjoyment and camaraderie of playing sport, and to contribute toward the success of the Foundation.  In doing so, the proceeds from this event will be utilized to pass on the chance Chris once had toward reaching his academic and athletic aspirations through a scholarship award.  A deserving student-athlete at each of Chris' alma maters, the University of Rhode Island and Lakeland Regional High School, will be the beneficiary of the scholarship to be awarded on an annual basis.  The event comes as a result of Chris' Chance which was prematurely taken away at the age of 23 as a result of the terrorist attacks of 9/11/01.
